About John Beal Roofing

Three generations, one family, the same yellow and black trucks. We have been putting Midwest roofs back together since 1947, and MidwestHailDamage.com is our storm restoration division.

Seventy-nine years on Midwest roofs

John Beal started this company in St. Louis in 1947. It is still in the family, still headquartered in the same metro, and still run on the idea that a roofing company is only as good as the phone call you make three years after the job. That is an unfashionable way to run a business in an industry where a great many companies exist for one storm season and then dissolve, and it is the whole reason we are still here.

Our corporate office is at 12181 Prichard Farm Road in Maryland Heights, Missouri. You can drive to it. Our crews wear the same uniforms, our trucks carry the same lettering, and our equipment is marked the same way it has been for decades — not because we are sentimental, but because when a homeowner sees a truck in the driveway they should know exactly who is on their roof.

We are an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, which is a designation held by a small percentage of roofing companies nationally and which carries manufacturer warranty backing that an unaffiliated contractor cannot offer. We are BBB A+ rated and a Roofing Contractor Magazine Top 100 company. Those are useful signals, but the one that matters most is simpler: we were here before this storm and we will be here for the next one.

Honest guidance, skilled craftsmanship, commitment to protection

Those three things are what we tell every crew and every estimator. Honest guidance means telling a homeowner their roof is fine when it is fine, even though there is no invoice at the end of that conversation. Skilled craftsmanship means new flashings and pipe boots on a new roof rather than reusing the old ones because nobody will see. Commitment to protection means the storm line is answered at 2 a.m., because that is when the storm is happening.
